Buying Info

Ford's Auction Bidding Information

To register for a number

You must show a current valid driver’s license or a state photo ID.

Buyers Premium

There will be a 10% buyers premium added to all invoices.

Payment Methods

Acceptable methods of payment are as follows:

  1. Cash
  2. Check
  3. Master Card / Visa & Debit cards (4% Auction House Fee will be added to all invoices but will be discounted to 0% when payment is made with cash or check)
  4. Cashier’s check
  5. Any other payment methods must be arranged with the Auction Center prior to the sale

Online Absentee Bids

The following rules apply to online absentee bidding: Available on HiBid

  1. Register online.
  2. Place your maximum bid.
  3. When the timer on HiBid reaches zero, the highest bid will be brought to the live in-person auction the following day.
  4. If your bid stands through the live auction you will be notified via email.
  5. All invoices under $500 will automatically charge the card on file. Above that amount, an invoice will be sent to the email registered.
  6. Online Bidding incurs an increased buyer’s premium of 15%.

Live Phone Bidding

The following rules apply to Live Phone Bidding: Live phone bidding is offered to bidders who cannot make it in person.

  1. Must be a registered bidder
  2. Bidder must have the highest Online/Floor bid.
  3. Must notify us at least one day prior to live auction beginning.
  4. Item(s) must be paid for and removed from the Auction Center within one week after the sale.
  5. Item(s) may not be removed until full payment is made.
